Autumn on the Road: Benson’s Welcome Home Tour Continued

As most West Virginians know, one of the best parts of the journey in the fall is traveling down country roads lined with rolling hills and vibrant colors. It’s a season that ushers in a new chapter, a new era, and for President Michael T. Benson, new connections.

From the halls of WVU Tech in Beckley to the labs of Potomac State College in Keyser, Benson’s visits highlighted the University System’s collective strength and commitment to serving every corner of the state. His stops included hospitals in the WVU Health System, advanced manufacturing companies driving the region’s economy, and classrooms where the next generation of Mountaineers are preparing to lead.

Each visit reflected a common theme: West Virginia’s future is being built by its people. Whether talking with healthcare workers, industry leaders, or students just starting their journey, Benson continued to meet the faces and voices shaping the state’s next chapter, proving that the University’s impact extends far beyond Morgantown.
